MS-DOS Boot Disk Contents

Apparently it seems this site has forgotten the existence of MS-DOS version 7,
version 7.1 and version 8.0.
Have a look at the wikipedia MS-DOS page.
It doesn't seem neccesary to add seperate bootdisks for this versions, but a small note on the case couldn't be bad.

I really wants to thank you for this site, you has made my day, month and maybe years to come with this Information.

I use a lot this Information for repairs and you just saved my a lot of time and effort.

This website is fantastic. The Boot Disks I have tried all work fantastically, especially when I am using older software.

MS-DOS 6.22 for 5.25" Drives is needed for our system formatting.

Trying to blow a Vista hard disk out so I can install XP any suggestions?

not very handy for those of us without floppy drives.

Just wondering if you have tried this.. i cant get it to work but i am not to great with computers. Vista has become a nightmare to uninstall and i still havent figured out how. I tried downloading multiple boot disks so i dont log into windows and hoped to get to a dos prompt so i could format the drive with vista on it. I get no where.. any ideas how to get vista off my computer or how to even get to a dos prompt so i can format the drive? i tried using the windows XP cd to get into the repair console but i get a stop screen for some error codes and i cant get to the point i can format.

HELP! if you have anything i will try it.. oh and i dont have a floppy drive HA! possible to burn a CD and change boot sequence?

I have a compaq nx9010 laptop and the boot disks wont work on it, i've tried using f10 and no joy, even tried changing the bootable devices around, the problem i'm having is that the OS is not running properly going really slow and won't even take me to the desktop so i'm trying to format it and start over again. Any help please?

I want to make a back-up image of my (vista) laptop on my external harddrive with "Partition Saving".

I can boot with the image into ms-dos but can't get to my external harddrive.(were the back-up software is)

Its named G: and it's a FAT 32 format...so i don't understand..

any suggestions ??

"Microsoft Says this is illegal." ???????? Once I buy any version of Windows I am entitled to install it on any medium I choose, including a USB drive. I am also entitled to make as many backups as I deem necessary. Are they saying that I can't install Windows on a USB card? If that is the case can I even install it on my hard drive? What about these new laptops that don't have mechanical hard drives but have electronic storage instead? I am not trying to pirate, hack, sell or otherwise cut into Microsoft's huge profits but rather make my computer mine and not theirs. There is nothing in the license agreement that limits the medium upon which the operating system is installed.
