My IBM Thinkpad 560X won't get pass the ME Splash screen. I downloaded your boot disk. Thanks for providing it. I copied it over to a floppy and tried booting up my TP. It doesn't run - I get the message to remove the disk or other media and then hit any key. I look at the diskette and there is just
one big file. Should there be a bunch of individual files. What am I doing

Thank You I really was needng this floppy boot. The reason being is my laptop has no CDRom drive built in so installing the Win98 I have was not going to work. Thank You Very Much.

I just want to thank you so much for providing this boot disks I was almost hopeless past two days as my boot disk faild me big time. the other boot disk just would give the C prompt nothing else I could do. the boot disks from you worked right away how ever the bootable CD did not the computer would see it for few seconds then jumps to window start I do not why. anyhow thanks big time.

this thing is good but i really need an image from the instalation disks an the key for them
please give me an answer

do I need a a floppy disk to get booted my ME computer. when I put in the CD with ISO, it just says that i need a system disk....? Help.

tried to use a floppy disk to boot windows ME...got message invalid system disk insert another disk and press any key...like your site not sure what to do next???thanks...alfred

Hello ppl, i have got an iso inage, when i press E:\ in DOS.. it works
Then i type E:\setup it runs scandisk but saysi need 105773 Bytes, i got 100GB hard drive,formatted using FAT32 file system and evrything

I download the self extract file, it seems like most of it had a bad reading sector. The source file might me corrupted.
I cant create the bootdisk.

I have been trying to fix a drive issue that has arisen in my system. It has not been reconizeing my cd-rom and dvd. then all of a sudden it will. I am going to try my recover disk, but it would not let me create a startup disk. I had one from years ago but when i put it in it says non sys. disk. when I try to make a new one it says aspi2dos.sys file not found insert mill.me disk, which I have no mil. me disk. Ido hae a recover dis pac. that has worked in the past.by compaq. It this works I truly appreciate it.

Hi, I was given two older model compaq notebooks, both supposidley had Windows ME but one of them says "No Operating System Found". Can your boot disk help me with this or do I need a disk to install it, I dont want to spend a bunch of money, they only have pentium iii processors, but I was going to give them to my kids for checking my space and that sort of stuff, the other one works just fine, I even put Windows XP on that one, but the other will not read the XP disk or do anything else. Please help. Thanks so much!!
